OUR COMMITMENT
The Forge app is operated by Forged In Fire Ministries. We use personal information only to operate, secure, and improve the ministry app and its community features. We do not sell your personal information.
INFORMATION WE HANDLE
Depending on how you use the app, this may include your email address, display name, optional profile photo and bio, account status, chat and private-message content, uploaded chat photos or videos, blocking and moderation records, notification preferences, and device push-notification tokens.
HOW WE USE IT
We use this information to authenticate your account, provide member profiles and chat, deliver ministry content and event information, send notifications you choose to receive, prevent abuse, respond to reports, and maintain the security and reliability of the app.
MESSAGES & REPORTS
Channel messages are visible to members who have access to that channel. Private messages are intended for the two participants. If a message is reported, authorized Forge leaders may see the reported-message snapshot needed to review that report; they do not receive general access to the full private conversation.
SERVICE PROVIDERS
The app relies on technology providers such as Supabase, Expo, Apple, and Google to provide hosting, authentication, storage, notifications, distribution, and related infrastructure. Those providers may process technical or account data as needed to provide their services.
RETENTION & DELETION
We retain account information while your account is active and as reasonably needed to operate and protect the service. You can permanently delete your account from My Profile. Account deletion removes your profile and associated account data, including your messages, uploaded chat media, notification settings, and profile photo. Ministry content published by a leader may remain after account deletion, but the deleted account is no longer identified as its creator.
SECURITY
We use access controls and other reasonable safeguards designed to protect account information. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
WEBSITE COOKIES & SECURITY TECHNOLOGIES
Our website may use essential cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for security and basic functionality. For example, Cloudflare Turnstile helps protect website forms from automated abuse. We may also use local browser storage to remember that you dismissed our privacy notice so it does not repeatedly appear. We do not use these technologies for advertising or to sell personal information.
